AVID 9 students are making the transition from Junior High to High School and are quickly learning that things are more fast-paced.  Students learn the value of Cornell note-taking strategies,  tutorials, binder organization, study skills, and time management.  All of our AVID 9 students are enrolled in the PEAC program which gives additional support through after-school tutoring and mentors as well as the resources of our AVID and PEAC Counselors. Student schedules are monitored and we do our best to try and place cohorts of students in the same rigorous classes so they can support each other.
